It is pretty damn cold in Sydney at the moment. As I type this, I can barely feel my icicles…I mean, fingers because they are so cold (warning, typos may occur) and when it is cold, there isn't much else you can do but rug up, snuggle down, and consume as much warmth as humanly possible. I can't even begin to explain what kind of week this has been! I will say it has involved talking to a stripper and a dwarf, being abused over the phone by the worst person in customer service ever, sweet talking my way through pretty much everything, a bit too much BS for my general liking, lots of coffee and chocolate, these lifesaving cookies, and general wedding drama (not mine, don't panic). Aside from throwing a Game of Thrones reference into today's post (how good is season two??), it is exactly how things are feeling in Sydney this week. It is COLD. I haven't always been a tea drinker, which is strange for an English-born girl. In fact, it wasn't until I went overseas early in my twenties and all my English relatives could not believe two things about me. One, that I didn't drink tea and, two, that I didn't have slippers.
