.

I just had to share this video with you after coming across it last night. This video really made me think about the one life that we have, and the way in which we live that life.

We don't know what the future holds; some people live to 90 and some people die too soon, like Rachel, at nine. In her ridiculously short life, it would seem that she did more than most people do in decades. She had a dream and an optimistic persistence and I just think it's sad that she didn't live to see the results of that.

The story in this video made me feel as though we sometimes get complacent  and make excuses about our half-lived lives. Would she ever have raised so much money if she had lived?

I'm not really thinking about raising money for charity or creating a legacy that will inspire videos such as this one, but we do only get one shot at life and I think it's easy to forget that. Dreams fall by the wayside, compromises get made, promises are broken and as we grow up, we become convinced that one person can't make a difference.

This is it. This is all we have, one life. I'm not sure if I'm making the most of mine, are you making the most of yours?
