Last Thursday I ran home from work (mid TV wedding prep) and went along to the music and t-shirt launch of the lovely Morgan Joanel. I've known Morgan pretty much since I moved to Sydney and am often in awe of the creative abilities of this girl.

She sings, writes music, plays multiple instruments, has mad skills with a looping pedal, draws, designs, and models on her blog MojoMade and her latest tracks are insanely good.

The launch was held at The Backroom in Potts Point and is a rocking venue if you ever need a cave-like dwelling for a night of drinks and good music, the vibe is great there (just don't count on phone reception)!

Getting to have long-awaited catch ups with some Sydney friends was a major highlight too and despite the crazy week I was in the midst of, I was so glad that I went. Not to mention good music + fashion + gift bags are always a winner in my book!

Morgan's t-shirts are pretty cute and in keeping with her rock n roll style AND originally hand drawn by the lady herself, I might add. It would seem the launch is the start of big things for her brand – I can see these bad boys starting to pop up all over the place.

I didn't get a chance to grab my camera on my way to the launch but the lovely Natalie of Lucy and the Runaways has let me borrow some of her amazing shots from the night so you can get a glimpse for yourself (please do go and check out her blog too!):

The new t-shirt line is soon to be released (unless you were lucky, like me, and got one on the night) and you can find Morgan all over the Internet these days. Head to Mojomade to find out more!
