Instagram is probably my favourite and most used iPhone app. It's like visual Twitter, in my opinion, allowing you to see the world of your friends and favourite celebrities through their eyes. Not to mention how good the filters can make a pretty average iPhone photo look.
I've been a big fan of Instagram since it was released and have amassed quite a gallery of images, mostly because of my Instagram Photo-a-Day project (which you can see in its entirety here). The biggest issue with the digital age, though, is that we have developed a tendency to store our images online or on hard drives and they never see the light of day (okay, that last sentence was accidentally too pun-heavy, I apologise).
Until now. There is so much that you can do with your Instagram images these days thanks to opportunistic companies such as Printstagram (yeah, see what they did there). For ridiculously affordable prices, you can have albums printed, turn them into magnets, make posters, and stickers. Or, if you are anything like Elsie and Emma, the possibilities of what your crafty brain can come up with are endless (that is Elsie's DIY Insta-wall pictured above).
Unfortunately, I am lazy, and although the idea of creating DIY awesomeness with my Instagram prints is inspiring, it is also somewhat unlikely. That's what I like about my latest discovery, Casetagram. it links into your Instagram account and randomly creates a collage of your images onto a case using the layout of your choosing (or you can customise it yourself)! Here's my first attempt:
Protecting your phone in a case covered in images that you took with said phone is SO cool. I think I have to get this just because it makes me so happy. If you're on Instagram, you can find me @miss_kms and I'd love to hear what you do with your photos, maybe it will inspire me to print mine out!
