Yesterday marked the first day of National Letter Writing Week (apparently) in (I think) the USA and Canada. I have picked this up on numerous blogs and although I can't confirm that this is the same in Australia (otherwise it would, most likely be called International Letter Writing Week), I thought it seemed like a good enough motivator to send some letters (especially as we apparently don't have a National Letter Writing Week).
I have mentioned on many occasions my love for sending and receiving mail. It just shows a little extra effort than a Facebook comment or an email (not that I'm not a big fan of these as well) and who doesn't love receiving things in the post!?. So I've decided to send a few letters and postcards not necessarily because of this (potentially made up) week but just because.
Come on, join in, you know you want to! Step back into the days of snail mail and show someone you care! (Sorry for the over-the-top use of parentheses)
