So…I wrote a book. It's something that I've always wanted to do and want to do more of in the future so I figured I may as well just go and write the first one so that I can keep moving forward. Know what I mean? In fact, that's kind of what the book is about. It's called 'Get Everything You Want…and More – 20 Tips to Becoming a Kick Ass Goal Setter' and it's all about making yourself accountable… Read more »

Totally Addicted To: kikki.K
Yes, I'm a self-confessed stationery addict. And kikki.K is just one part of this rather huge obsession. Don't tell me you don't know kikki.K. If you don't…I don't know if we can be friends any more (just kidding, just promise me to check out their site). My sister, best friend, and I have a deep and mutual love of all things kikki.K. Even though we live far away, I always feel close to them when I go into the stores… Read more »

An Open Letter to Tina Fey
Dear Tina Fey, I just read your book, Bossypants, and wrote a review on it for my blog here, but I scrapped it to write you a letter because I had to get something off my chest (even though you'll never read it, I'm sure you get the point…damn why am I still talking to you like you will read it, okay, I'm moving on now…) Firstly, I want to start by saying, your book is exceptional. I know I… Read more »
Underground New York Public Library
When I'm busy, the two things that go out the window are reading and exercise. I miss reading but it almost always feels like a guilty pleasure because you can't do anything else when you're consumed in the pages of a book. It's a sad realisation and one that I hope to rectify as soon as possible, taking more time to sit and read and appreciate working my brain and not being connected to the online world all the time…. The Road Ahead
“Just because the road ahead is long, is no reason to slow down. Just because there is much work to be done, is no reason to get discouraged. It is a reason to get started, to grow, to find new ways, to reach within yourself and discover strength, commitment, determination, discipline. The road ahead is long and difficult, and filled with opportunity at every turn. Start what needs starting. Finish what needs finishing. Get on the road. Stay on the… Read more »

Wreck This Journal
One of the brilliant birthday gifts I received this year was from my friend, Shamere (she is a gift-giving legend). She gave me an assortment of stationery related items to add to my epic collection and one of them was a Wreck This Journal. Simply put, this journal has instructions on every page detailing what you need to do to completely wreck the journal. As someone with a massive respect for books, drawing in them, ripping pages, and pretty much… Read more »
