At the beginning of the month I started my Instagram photo challenge as a reminder to take a moment each day to enjoy the little things. If you're joining in then you might have noticed the same thing. It's so important to just stop and realise that even on a not-great day, there is something small to be grateful for. The photo element is purely to capture that moment each day, it's pretty cool and I love seeing what everyone… Read more »

This post is sponsored by Jessop photos. I don't know about you, but I take a LOT of photos. I think on my iPhone right now I have over 1200 photos and I can't even guess how many are on my computer/in the cloud/on an external hard drive. It suddenly occurred to me the other day that if anything happened to 'the Cloud' or my devices, I would lose over five years worth of photos. Photos that don't exist anywhere… Read more »

I have been unbelievably lucky lately to be able to escape the confines of my desk to go out and 'reccie' places all over Sydney. As exciting as getting out of the office is, the weather has been unbelievable and I have collected some photos from my various travels. I haven't edited or Instagram'd any of these, they're el naturale straight from my iPhone.   What do you think? I think I definitely need to stop complaining about my job…. Read more »

I've noticed lots of Instagram posts lately and I always love the little snapshot you get into different worlds that might not normally be post-worthy. Here's a bit of a mash up of my life lately! FROM THE TOP: Cute table setting at a bridal expo (for work, nothing suss!) // Cake o'clock at work // Work reccie to Watsons Bay // Part of my contribution to the Fox In Flats Pin Up Dare // Amazing breakfast near my house… Read more »

Instagram is probably my favourite and most used iPhone app. It's like visual Twitter, in my opinion, allowing you to see the world of your friends and favourite celebrities through their eyes. Not to mention how good the filters can make a pretty average iPhone photo look. (Image from Pinstagram) I've been a big fan of Instagram since it was released and have amassed quite a gallery of images, mostly because of my Instagram Photo-a-Day project (which you can see… Read more »

This weekend my beautiful sister, Rachael, came to visit. For her birthday, I made these and told her to choose what she wanted to do and I would take her. I really enjoyed showing her around Sydney and taking her to places I like while we caught up on life. We also took a lot of photos, so I thought I would split this post up and share it over the week so I don't go on and on in… Read more »

Exciting news, friends; a giveaway is upon us! I'm sure you've noticed how much I like taking photos, well now I have a way to make them look pretty – with My Memories Suite. I don't know a lot about scrap booking or visual design but when the lovely people at My Memories asked me to try out their software, I thought I'd give it a go. I had heaps of fun and found it really simple putting together all… Read more »

Despite how desperately I want to move house, the neighbourhood we currently live does have a few up sides. It's very green (see), it loves spring about as much as I do, and the water is about a 10 minute jog away. Check out these snaps I took the other day. Spring is my favourite time of year and I wish you could smell the jasmine smell right outside my door at the moment. I've always been a big lover… Read more »

Today marks the end of October. The end of Blogtoberfest and posting every day (I only missed one day all month!). And this is the end of another month of photos. Although I had high hopes for this month, trying to take on the 30-Day Photo Challenge, my work schedule made it impossible so I…delayed it for a less stressful month. Luckily, I take so many photos it really isn't that hard to find a photo a day, I think… Read more »
