Without even knowing it, I have been taking part in my own little arm party for some months now – probably ever since my sister introduced me to the crazy world of mixing Pandora bracelets.

Since then, I have added a leather and chain bracelet and a beaded bracelet and a few other bits and pieces to the mix and I am officially obsessed! And it would seem that the rest of the world is too! Now all I need is a metal watch, probably in gold, and I will be totally hooked.

This trend has become so big it even has it's turning up just about everywhere in the form of mixing watches, bracelets, cuffs, friendship bands, charm bracelets, leather straps, and bangles in a seemingly haphazard fashion. Yeah, the term is 'arm party' and it is pretty freakin' awesome. It feels like a bit of a throwback to the 90's, perhaps because that's when I last remember wearing hand plaited friendship bracelets (oh and slap bands, remember those?) and I never thought anything from the 90s would be cool again, but apparently it's possible!

So cool, in fact, that Andrea of Fox in Flats has created a 7-day Arm Party dare as part of her "Seven Months of Style Dares", check out her post explaining the dare and showcasing some of the best arm parties to be seen on the interwebs.

The results from my Pinterest search should be proof enough. This form of accessorising is huge and it doesn't matter if you're grungy, or boho, or preppy, or girlie, you can mix and match whatever you like and have the happiest wrists around!

I wish I had some photos of my foray into the world of arm parties, but alas my wares are all stored in a room with a sleeping manchild at this current moment, but if you follow me on Facebook or Instagram, I will be posting my seven days as part of the Fox in Flats Arm Party Style Dare.

What do you think? Are you into it, or do you think it should go back to the 90's with dungarees and double denim?

LOVING the arm party look at the moment, in some way we have always been featuring small parts of it – oversized watches/charm bracelets! But I love how big it has come back – and the mix metals look as part of it! The fourth image is great inspiration!!
