A Few Of My Favourite Things

So November is here. I'm not really sure how that happened but time is kind of crazy like that!

How has your week been? Mine has been pretty weird, like far too much girl crazy for one person to handle. I think I'm slowly losing my mind because of work stuff (or lack thereof) and the upcoming holidays creeping up on me and everything just feels so out of whack at the moment. Does anyone else feel like that sometimes?

Anyway, on with my favourite things for the week!

I went out and bought myself a little happy the other day. Who doesn't love new stationery (especially when it's cute and from Kikki K!):

My friend, Dre, introduced me to this post by Andrew Gunsberg about working in the 'biz'. The podcasts he recommends are pretty awesome and worth checking out! Includes Wayne Brady, Jay Mohr, Adam Carolla, and Henry Rollins.

I'm a massive fan of Kickstarter and this is my favourite project for the week:

Naomi introduced me to a monthly Instagram project with a bit of a difference. It looks like a challenge but I'm going to try to play along:

Bailey has been listening to The Reign of Kindo all week and they are kind of addictive:

Modcloth has some ADORABLE dresses perfect for the holiday season. You can get $15 off on any purchase over $50 by clicking here.

L-R: When the Night Comes dress in red; Dressed To The Rhines necklace; Out On The Tinseltown dress in black; Piece of My Heart heel; Enchanting Moment dress in emerald

I love the caption of this on Pinterest:

"Audrey Hepburn spent many years in Africa helping the helpless. Yet all the pictures on Pinterest show her as a fashion icon. Fashion passes in a wink, compassion lasts forever."

A great reminder:

This is happening. Soon.

I've been having a Harry Potter on Blu Ray marathon…*sob*

And I'm hooked on Pushing Daisies again. Damn it.

Have a great weekend! Get your bake on with me or go out and appreciate the warm weather. Whatever it is, make it awesome.
